Perinatal Personal Care Products, Reimagined

We’re on a mission to provide innovative, sustainably-sourced, non-toxic personal hygiene products for the entire perinatal journey that help reduce mess and stress so that moms can better bond with their babies.

Our Values

  • Trust

We create products that enhance trust within the mother and mother-baby relationship.

  • Integrity

We hold ourselves and our products to the standards we’d require for the people we love most.

  • Comfort

We choose comfort over stress. It influences our creativity and creates a safe space to connect and evolve.

The Birth of kozēkozē

When founder Garrett Kusmierz googled “What to do for engorgement leakage?” her second night home from the hospital after giving birth to her son, she was met with the following options: “Don’t pump too much,” “Wear a bra with pads,” “Dress smart,” and “Sleep on a towel.”

Astonished by the lack of support and solution—kozēkozē was born.

Meet the Team

  • Garrett Kusmierz

    Founder & Chief Executive Officer

From commercial real estate to teaching fitness classes to spiritual mindset and business mentoring, Garrett has the true background of an Enneagram 7. She’s made a living of helping people– whether that’s writing books and blogs, podcasting and coaching, or placemaking. Her greatest accomplishment is her son. The three hardest things she’s ever done? Move across the country at 23, write a book, and give birth.

  • Courtney Welch

    Chief Marketing Officer

Courtney has “done it all” when it comes to marketingandwhen it comes to TTC, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—from an easy breezy first pregnancy, an eight-hour unmedicated birth of her son, and a difficult postpartum period to a high-risk pregnancy, a medicated birth of her stillborn daughter, and navigating postpartum without a baby. Courtney’s heart is for all moms on the journey of motherhood and for them to know they are never alone.

  • Lili Helmuth

    Chief Operating Officer

Lili has dedicated her life to educating young children. As an educator, she truly embraces learning from those around her, stays curious, and cherishes little moments. Through her son’s 24-week birth and 203-day NICU experience, she’s learned how to hold both the joy of motherhood and the weight of worry. Her journey has deepened her commitment to nurturing both the minds and hearts of those around her, and she continues to find strength in the shared experiences of others, always striving to create a community of support and understanding.

  • Laura Wood

    Director Of Business Development

For two decades Laura has enjoyed a career in medical device sales committed to improving the quality of life for thousands of patients. Watching her grown children navigate the world with compassionate hearts and curious minds is her biggest joy. The hardest thing she has ever done is give birth to her first born, Garrett, on an air force base during Operation Desert Storm with limited resources, and 15 airmen observing.
